# Connect Grok to the Fanvue MCP server

> Add the Fanvue MCP server to Grok on grok.com as a custom connector and authorise it with your Fanvue account.

Grok on grok.com can read and answer chats, publish posts and read earnings on your Fanvue account. You need a Fanvue creator or agency account and a Grok account.

## Connect Grok

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open connector settings">
    Go to [your connectors](https://grok.com/connectors) and click **New Connector**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add the Fanvue server">
    Select **Custom**, name it **Fanvue** and paste the server URL:

    ```text theme={null}
    https://mcp.fanvue.com/mcp
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="Authorise">
    Your browser opens to Fanvue to sign in and allow access.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm the connection">
    Ask "How many unread chats do I have?". A reply with your unread count means the connection works.
  </Step>
</Steps>

On a Business or Enterprise team, an admin adds the connector for the team before members can use it.

## Ask in plain language

Describe what you want and the client picks the tools:

```text wrap theme={null}
How many unread chats do I have, and who are my top spenders this month?
Draft a thank-you message to my top 10 spenders and show it to me before sending
Schedule a post for Friday at 20:00 London time announcing a live stream
Compare my net earnings this month with last month, by source
```

As an agency, name the creator in each request. [Example requests](/docs/mcp-server/examples) has more, grouped by job.

## Review before anything reaches fans

Tools act on your live account. A message reaches the fan, a mass message reaches the whole list, and a post goes live as soon as the tool runs. Ask for a draft first and approve it before the client sends or publishes.

<Warning>
  With `fanvue_mcp:write`, the client can do anything your account can do, including messaging fans, publishing and changing prices. Revoke access at any time in Fanvue under Settings > Account > **Third Party Apps Consent**.
</Warning>

## Disconnect Grok

Remove the **Fanvue** connector from [your connectors](https://grok.com/connectors), then revoke access as described in [Disconnect and revoke](/docs/mcp-server#disconnect-and-revoke).
