The Fanvue n8n node calls the Fanvue API from an n8n workflow, so a trigger in one tool can read or write chats, followers, subscribers, media, insights and posts on a Fanvue account. When you finish, the node is installed in your n8n instance and authorised against a Fanvue account. You need:
  • an n8n instance, version 1.0.0 or later (the versions the node is tested with)
  • a Fanvue app in the Developer Area, for its Client ID and Client Secret; Build your first app covers registering one
The package name, the resources the node covers and the minimum n8n version are awaiting confirmation from the node’s maintainers. Check the package listing before you rely on any of them.

Installation

Install the node from the n8n community nodes settings:
  1. Open your n8n instance.
  2. Go to Settings > Community Nodes.
  3. Click Install.
  4. Enter @fanvue/n8n-nodes-fanvue.
  5. Click Install.

Credentials

The node authenticates with OAuth 2.0 against the Fanvue API, using the Client ID and Client Secret of your Fanvue app. Read both values from the app’s Authentication tab in the Developer Area and enter them in the n8n credential dialog. The same dialog shows n8n’s callback URL. Register it with your app in one of two ways:
  • add it to the redirect URIs on the Authentication tab, or
  • add it to oauth.redirectUris in the app’s App Manifest, then click Check now on the Versions tab.
The callback URL must start with https:// unless n8n runs on localhost, so a self-hosted n8n served over http:// on another host needs an HTTPS address first. Select the scopes your workflows need in the same place you registered the URL.

Usage

Once the node is installed and its credentials are set, each Fanvue operation appears in the node’s resource and operation menus. Pick a resource, pick an operation, map the fields from the previous node, and run the workflow. The node exposes these resources, each with its own operations.
